Finally saw the OZ movie with James Franco - I thought it was beautifully shot but honestly I didn't feel particularly engaged by it. And I'm still not feeling James Franco (tho' that may change when I watch my DVD of Interior Leather Bar! )
Glad to see Orphan Black is back - love Alison (well, all of them really) + Felix in his assless chaps.
Happy Valley was really good. Sarah Lancashire + Steve Pemberton are particularly good in it and it was a lot better than I thought it would be. On the other hand, Prey was good but I think it suffers by being fairly similar to Line of Duty which was shown recently.
I also loved the 1st part of Love for Sale with Rupert Everett in which he interviewed various prostitutes about their work - he's very funny and charming but at the same time I felt like he was being honest with them about what their work entailed and he'd talked to a range of prostitutes (from high-class call girls to street girls and male/female/trans in several different countries). He was taking very much a pro-prostitution angle and altho' he did mention trafficking/drug addicts who work as sex workers he did gloss over that part a bit.
This Sunday sees the start of Series 2 of In the Flesh (can't wait!) and Hannibal returns next week.
