Rewatched Sherlock Series 3 recently (as I’d got the DVD) - I still like it but I prefer the 1st two series - maybe the gap between S2 and S3 meant that I read so much fanfic that my head-canon no longer matched up with where they went in the show - I honestly don’t know. There were still a lot of things I liked about Series 3 though and I love reading the meta that people write for the show because it often makes me see things in a new light + it’s like Aha! now you’ve mentioned that I can never unsee/unknow that and it makes me see the show from a different angle. I just love the fact that people can come up with so many interpretations/theories about the show + that it inspires so much creativity from the fans. I liked the fact that the show’s creators acknowledged this in the behind the scenes extras. I was also surprised to see how many people turned up for the filming - I mean, I knew quite a few people went along but I didn’t realise it was so many.

I also rewatched Don’t Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves (as I got the DVD of that) + it was every bit as heartbreaking and amazing as I remember. I really like the guy who plays Paul, I’d love to see him in more stuff.

I enjoyed Line of Duty, Keeley Hawes was brilliant I bet she gets a BAFTA nomination next year. I wonder if they’ll do another series. I am also quite annoyed because Channel 5 have taken Suspects off the air (that police drama with Damien Molony) after only 5 episodes and have said they’re going to show the remaining 5 in the autumn along with some new episodes - I’d rather have seen them now!
