Times at the weekend had an interview w/Mark Gatiss + a piece on Sherlock - I am somewhat excited/nervous about the new series - will it live up to expectations????
They also had an article on what to look forward to arts/culture-wise in 2014 plus Top of the Lake + Ben Whishaw’s dancing in Mojo got mentions in the Best of 2013 round-up.
They also had Servalan as their muse in the ups/downs section of the Style supplement - Servalan was awesome, in fact I blame her for corrupting me! I am tempted to rewatch Blakes 7 but it was one of my childhood favourites + I don’t want to watch it + lose the magic (if that makes sense).
Tom Hughes was in the Agatha Christie last night - he was very good in it + I definitely think he’s going to be one of the next actors to make it big. Also when I was with my mum I happened to catch an old Agatha Christie on TV (well, from a few years ago) + it starred James D’Arcy + he was so gorgeous in it. Plus it had John Sessions/Frances De La Tour/Emilia Fox/Kelly Brook/Harry Enfield/Ken Russell/Sean Pertwee and Tallulah Riley - I love the way Agatha Christie adaptations and Midsomer Murders must have kept half of Britain’s actors employed over the years. But James D’Arcy was so good in it - I hope he does more TV at some point.
