I am a bit scatty about keeping up to date!
Got new Mojo a while ago - big articles on Gram Parsons/Pink Floyd (neither of which really appeal to me) tho they did have a good interview with Adam Ant and an article on when New York Dolls played Biba in London in 1973.
Also new issue of Attitude had interviews w/John Grant (I still think his song Sigourney Weaver is one of the perfect songs of alienation/loneliness ever) and Jujubee (off RuPaul's Drag Race which I still want to return to UK TV!) They also mentioned Ben Whishaw and James D'arcy star as gay lovers in art film Cloud Atlas (and who among us has not sat thro some dreary pretentious art film for a glimpse of hot totty *g*). They had a good article on the evolution of gay porn and a review of The Celluloid Closet in their classic books plus a tiny bit on Jem + the Holograms as style icons. (Integrity Toys are doing a collector's edition of the Jem doll but it is sooo expensive).
I got NME last week because it had a big article on Iggy Pop and Raw Power - is it just my imagination or does NME seem to be getting into a bit of Mojo territory with its coverage of 'heritage' rock acts?
Times a couple of weeks ago had a very good article on Rihanna w/ a little bit by Caitlin Moran (also loved her review of Dancing on the Edge which I have been enjoying) - they also named Tom Hiddleston as a rising star.
They had a good interview w/Mickey Flanagan (I do find him funny even tho' some of his stuff is a bit dodgy) and a great article on the rise of oddball heroines saying it's not quite the triumph of feminism that we might think.
Also apparently Proud gallery in Chelsea are doing an exhibition of Debbie Harry photos.
