Got Issue 3 of Burlesque Bible which was fabulous as ever - some great interviews w/Dirty Martini, Vicky Butterfly and Captain Kidd (male burlesque performer or boylesque if you prefer) and articles on Lili St Cyr (I have that book they quoted from! & Lili is namechecked in Rocky Horror Picture Show when they do the big orgy scene in the pool (I think) and Janet shouts God Bless Lili St Cyr!) - Lili was a burlesque performer in the 1950s - and Bettie Page as well as various aspects of burlesque such as working with props/choosing the right underwear and tutorials on hair/make-up. I do hope they do a 4th issue.
Finished reading The Secret Pilgrim by John Le Carre I thought it was OK but I didn't enjoy it as much as the Smiley vs. Karla trilogy. I wish JLC had just written more about the adventures of the main characters from that (tho' they were mentioned in passing in this but I just wasn't that keen on the main character).
