Update
Got new issue of Word magazine which has definitely got better tho' I only ever admit to liking it in a begrudging sort of way as to start with I always found it a bit too men-of-a-certain-age-esque.
They had an excellent interview with Lady Gaga & article on poet Jackie Leven plus CD of his stuff that I must listen to. Also had an article on the rise & fall & resurgence of cassette tapes (which brought back a lot of memories - who else remembers taping songs off the Top 40? For those of you not old enough to remember it was the downloading of its day *g*). Also had a very interesting interview with Jonathan Shalit (who represents a lot of people in the entertainment business).
They also had an article from someone talking about being a Crass fan/hunt sab. & reviews of the new Prince bio/Game of Thrones/Paradise Lost & The British Guide to Showing Off.
And they had an interview with Henry Rollins - "Playing your hits is just living a lie" - then Henry followed that up with some sort of metaphor about how he wants people to swim the river rather than build a bridge that they have to cross but really he is just a grumpypuss *g*
And Company had Kate Bush as their beauty icon this month - a choice that I wholeheartedly approve of *g*
