I found out More4 are showing a documentary on Tues about Marwencol. It's the story of a man who was left brain-damaged after an attack so he built this diorama of a WW2 Belgian village populated with dolls to represent the soldiers/resistance fighters (but also based on himself and his friends/family). He then took these amazing photos of it all which ended up being exhibited at art galleries. The documentary about it has won several awards.
If you go to the website at
http://www.marwencol.com you can see photos and the trailer (where his doll ends up being captured by the SS and tortured before being rescued by the female resistance fighters).
