The Times had an amazing interview with Courtney Love at the weekend, I'll have to try and post some quotes from it. It says her new album, Nobody's Daughter, will be released in January *fingers crossed* Personally, I think it's her best work yet.
Also got the new issue of SFX (magazine about sci-fi/fantasy in film/TV/books). They did have a little article on Series 2 of Being Human that I'm already looking forward to plus they mentioned the US version of Life On Mars is out on DVD/being shown on FX. I quite want to see it although it sounds quite different to the UK version.
They had an article on a new graphic novel/comic that sounded interesting even tho' they're not normally my thing. It's called Grandville by Bryan Talbot and it's set in Victorian London (with steampunk influences) but with human-like animal characters so you have Detective Inspector LeBrock of Scotland Yard who is a huge working class badger. I'd love to see them do a TV series/film of that.
They also had an article on the reworking of Alice in Wonderland by American TV channel Syfy (they did the Wizard of Oz one, Tin Man, which I still really want to see). It sounds really intriguing, I loved the look of the (admittedly tiny) clip I've seen and it has a great cast including Kathy Bates as the Red Queen, Tim Curry as the Dodo and Andrew-Lee Potts as Hatter (among others). I'll have to hope someone posts it on YouTube so I can watch it.
