I got the new issue of Bizarre which was had loads of articles/interviews devoted to body modification. (I must admit to having a weakness for tattoos/piercings despite only having a small tattoo and not having my piercing anymore --- I'd like another tattoo but I can't decide what to get plus they're so expensive.) And I think it's interesting the lengths some people will go to --- I do see it as different to plastic surgery because that is more about fitting into a stereotype of society's ideal. They had an interview with Kat Von D who has just brought out her own book with a foreword from Nikki Sixx who she's now dating. I enjoyed the Lux Interior tribute, I really hope Mojo or Classic Rock do a proper big article on The Cramps.
They also had live reviews of Amanda Palmer and The Priscillas plus a review of that vampire movie Let The Right One in. (It's coming to Tyneside cinema in a few weeks so I'm definitely going to try and see it then).
Also apparently next week BBC3 are showing a documentary about Being Human and repeating the whole series over 2 weekends.
