Another update
I finally tracked down the new issue of Nylon which was OK. It had a cool feature on dangerous beauties as their beauty icons featuring the likes of Juliette Lewis in Natural Born Killers and Pam Grier in Coffy. And I finished reading L.A. Despair by John Gilmore (the author of Severed, the book about the Black Dahlia murder) --- this is about 5 different true life murder cases based around Los Angeles/California most notably the Wonderland killings that the porn star John Holmes was involved in. I thought it was interesting and I love Gilmore's noir-ish style of writing.
also Barbie Bazaar has the latest make-over competition on its website, the Barbie Makeover Artist Awards and you can vote online after looking at all the dolls in the categories. I have to say they don't get as many entrants as they used to when they just had it in the magazine (I think it's because they charge about thirty dollars or something just to enter. ) But if you go to http://www.barbiebazaar.com and click on the BMAA link at the side you can vote in it.
