Sherlock!
I have found my next addiction, and it is called Sherlock!!
No, i'm not talking the film here, though admittedly, that was enjoyable, I am talking the mini tv series.
I blame the fact that Watson had bombs strapped to him (I always... well nearly always prefer the side kick to the hero), leading to Sherlock asking 'You alright?' (more than once) concern in his voice, showing the friendship between the two characters.
Also the fact that it left on a cliff hanger, sending the imagination into overdrive tipped it even further into the addiction.
Don't get me wrong, i'll still read SGA, Sentinel etc, but it's more likely to be Sherlock I check first at ff.net!
What has this show done to me???? For something that is only three 90 min eps?????
Maybe it's a phase because it's still fresh in the mind, but i've always had a soft spot for Holmes, even the Basil Rathbone incarnation. So even if the addiction wears off, I have a feeling it'll come back with the next dose.
At least it doesn't inspire me to write any fanfic as my mind's not analytical enough to do Sherlock justice, though there is always the scene to do with what i think happened at the swimming pool....................
