What is going on?
I got a phone this afternoon from the college that I got a job at and was told that the person who was hired for the competition number that I applied for this past summer has for some reason decided not take the job. As a result, that effects everybody who was hired for on-call work as well under that competition number. Estentially, this means I don't have a library job at this present time. So I have to now reapply for the position under the new competition number; something to do with union rules. How annoying. I just wish this was all over with. A week ago I was so happy that I had gotten a library job, finally. Now I am just annoyed that I have to do it all over again. Hopefully I will be able to get the job and not have to deal with this in the near future. Oh, well, life sucks sometimes and you go on.
