So I really need to go wake everyone up
But I've been relaxing and doing a little bit of homework over the last hour and a half and its just been so nice to not hear little voices everywhere and get a bit of a break. But we've got to get up soon for church and hair cuts and all those other fun things that Sundays entail.
Jacob's birthday party was yesterday. Despite everything, it came out well. Well, for the kids at least. No idea on whether the adults liked it or not. We rented a small bounce house for the occassion with a ball pit and the kids pretty much spent the entire time in there, except for the cake and pinata. The pinata scared the beejeesees out of Jacob since he didn't know it was supposed to break. And it was a battle royale to get him out of the bounce house and make him sit down and eat the cake.
Needless to say, they've slept well tonight! Wonder if I can rent that bounce house once a week or so just to wear them out? Oh the dreams...
Anyways I think I just wanted to post because I was actually pretty proud of myself. The kids had a blast, the food almost all disappeared (woo! Less food for me!) and Jacob actually got a few presents I think he'll really like :)
