What did you do in 2017 that you'd never done before? Take walking for exercise seriously
Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I kept the resolution to watch anime, and I made decent progress on my others. It's actually a decent way to track what you want to do. I'm a convert!
Did anyone close to you give birth? No.
Did anyone close to you die? No.
What countries did you visit? No.
What would you like to have in 2018 that you lacked in 2017? More board game nights!
What date from 2017 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? September 12, when Steph got T-boned on the way home from work. Scary!
What was your biggest achievement of the year? Surviving 2017 definitely was an accomplishment
What was your biggest failure? I feel comfortable with my performance this year.
Did you suffer illness or injury? Kidney stones! The onset was December 11th, and I haven't had three pain-free days in a row since.
What was the best thing you bought? Our new electric plug-in hybrid.
Whose behavior merited celebration? Ours, for standing our ground and getting our car
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Joe Machens Toyota, Columbia. They suck.
Where did most of your money go? A brand new caaaaaar! (We officially spent more on it than on the mortgage)
What did you get really, really, really excited about? Fog of Love!

What was your favorite TV program? American Gods, or Orville, or Rick and Morty. It was a good year for TV.

What was your greatest musical discovery? Sirius XM

What did you want and not get? To stay in a cubicle

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Naka-kon ended before my birthday this year, so I stayed home.
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Mind to mind telepathy. (my perennial answer, and I like it)

What kept you sane? Undertale remixes, still still
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I don't usually fancy celebrities.
What political issue stirred you the most? Republicans repeatedly embarrassing themselves and then patting themselves on the back because of it

Who was the best new person you met? I got to know a guy named Sean a lot better than I have in the past, although I've known him for a couple of years.
