Hmm, How Does This Work Again? Let's Give It a Try...
It's still hard to reflect on the fact that I'm totally an adult. Not that it's a problem! I've come to accept a great many things about myself since I started blogging... *checks* ...Good lord, 12 years ago? I know my blog has lain fallow for a few years, but still. Yes, I've changed a ton, but maybe I can still get some value out of writing to the darkness.
This has been an eventful year! Nearly twelve months ago now, Stephanie and I moved from an apartment into an amazing house. We have space to display all of our stuff, nooks and crannies with closable doors, places for the cats to run around. Having a mortgage is stressful but exciting.
We went for quite a few months without real computers, too, because both of ours bit the dust shortly after moving. Inconvenient coincidences! So building new computers was another fun thing I did this year, along with putting together a bunch of furniture and figuring out how lawn mowers work. But, we've been slowly settling in and making the place our own. If you can find my facebook, there are some pictures of the new place.
With the release of 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons, I also started up a new D&D campaign. We've completed 20 sessions now, over the course of 10 months. There is a strange kind of fun in being a Dungeon Master, even though it can also be more stressful than paying a mortgage!
