1. What did you do in 2013 that you'd never done before? Purchase an arcade machine, go to an Anime Convention, meet a video game celebrity
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I did not, and I probably will not. (I can't remember anything that long!)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? No.
4. Did anyone close to you die? No.
5. What countries did you visit? No.
6. What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013? Initiative.
7. What date from 2014 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? March 16th, when I shook Nobuo Uematsu’s hand!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Umm… Reaching level 30 in LoL?
9. What was your biggest failure? Not facilitating the completion of our second arcade machine.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Nothing major.
11. What was the best thing you bought? Dollar for donuts, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Steph, who is nearly done with her MBA.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Loudmouth jerks
14. Where did most of your money go? Arcade parts, diet food, anime, video games
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Cataloguing our games and videos
16. What song will always remind you of 2013? Wrecking Ball, I guess

20. How did you spend Christmas? Watching movies with Steph’s dad.

24. What was your favorite TV program? Big Bang Theory, maybe.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No.
26. What was the best book you read? I read quite a few books this year (go me!) but I’ll go with Look Me In the Eye by John Elder Robison.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Smooth McGroove.
28. What did you want and get? To catalogue our game collection.
29. What did you want and not get? To move to a new place.
30. What was your favorite film of this year you watched this year? The Avengers, I suppose.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I went to Naka Kon, and I was 29.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Mind to mind telepathy. (my perennial answer, and I like it)
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2013? Pick it up and put it on.
34. What kept you sane? League of Legends (even though I suck at it).
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I don't usually fancy celebrities.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? Playing chicken with the economy.
37. Who did you miss? The Truman crew.
38. Who was the best new person you met? The girl we met at Naka-Kon who gave us lots of Swapnote wallpapers over the course of the year (R.I.P. Swapnote!).
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2013: Perhaps the best way to respond to bigots is to drown them out in derisive laughter?
