1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before? Played Facebook games... awkward
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I did not, and I probably will not. (I can't remember anything that long!)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Keith and Kendra
4. Did anyone close to you die? No.
5. What countries did you visit? None.
6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012? Initiative.
7. What date from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? June 25th, when I was officially employed at Shelter for five years
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Staying at a job long enough to earn BONUS VACATION.
9. What was your biggest failure? Not saving as much money as I'd like
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? No major cases of pink eye this year, yay! In early December, though, I caught something that made me lose my voice almost completely for a week
11. What was the best thing you bought? I'm actually really impressed by the Wii U. I didn't have great expectations for it and so far it's really surprised me
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Steph is two classes and two As into her MBA
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? People who won't work toward the common good
14. Where did most of your money go? Savings and trinkets
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? The "Distant Worlds" Final Fantasy concert
16. What song will always remind you of 2012? Gungnam Style

20. How did you spend Christmas? Staying home with Steph, and unexpectedly eating Christmas dinner with Mom and Dad

22. Did you fall in love in 2012? Of course.

24. What was your favorite TV program? We started watching Psych, and it's pretty good
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No
26. What was the best book you read? Reality is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World by Jane McGonigal
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Adele, I guess
28. What did you want and get? Lots of amazing video game art
29. What did you want and not get? A million dollars?
30. What was your favorite film of this year you watched this year? Wreck-It Ralph
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I did very little on my birthday, but I went to Distant Worlds that month with Keith and Kyle and Kendra and Nate. I turned 28.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Mind to mind telepathy. (my perennial answer, and I like it)
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012? New Age Hippie Programmer
34. What kept you sane? Bouts of Team Fortress
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I don't usually fancy celebrities.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? The Separatists' Movement
37. Who did you miss? Katy, who I missed visiting Columbia twice
38. Who was the best new person you met? I don't think I met anybody noteworthy new this year...
