Steph and I have a 2009 Prius. Typically, she drives. Steph likes driving; I don't mind driving when there's no traffic. When Steph has the car tied up (for instance, when she stays late at work), I can typically catch a ride with Dad. When we move somewhere else, we'll probably have to get a second car. And I'll have to build some more fortitude regarding traffic.
I never really cared about vehicles growing up, and when it was time to get a car I really just wanted something small and fuel efficient. I did kind of fall in love with the Prius, though--I happened to ride in one on my wedding day.
I'd like to do more walking between places... Unfortunately, the only place within walking distance around our house is a Jimmy John's and my old High School. Fortunately, there's not much around Columbia that I really care to walk or drive to.
