This means that 35 percent of voters are entirely out of the federal income tax picture. I think a good argument could be made that these people shouldn't be voting at all."

i had to do research on the national debt today for US history and this popped up... it singlehandedly made me hate every republican in our country again. just the fact that someone would say that just because people dont pay income taxes means that shouldnt be able to decide any type of legal judgement including whether or not their lives will be at stake in a war is quite frustrating/depressing.
the entire atricle was much worse than just that one quote but i dont feel like copying everything.
