What is...
...nearly 3inches long, the width of a piece of spaghetti, with hundreds of long, spindly legs and crunches when you smash it against your kitchen wall? Heaven only knows, but if it's got friends, I got a problem. I know its the "rainy" season and all, but do all these critters have to come out and play in the confines of my fine new home?? That's the 2nd one of those milli-centi-pedie things I've killed in as many days, and I *think* I came across a (gasp) cockroach the other day while I packed my lunch. Damn thing was so quick that it got back up in the crack between the cupboards before I could smash it, so I'll never really know. I like to believe it's the only one of it's kind within 100miles and I obliterated it with the fumigator stuff I sprayed up in the crack shortly after its disappearance in there. Yeah, thats realistic - welcome to my world where the sky is orange (the new pink!) and I'm Mrs. Orkin.
I feel the urge to sleep with the light on tonite, but it obviously doesn't effect the travels of my new multi-legged pals. Maybe I'll try with one eye open.
