9/14-I had my first monitoring appointment at 7am on Friday September 14th, just bloodwork testing my natural estradiol and progesterone levels. The clinic called that afternoon to say that my levels looked good and that I could start taking Estrace again that evening. We are aiming for possibly an October 6th transfer?!
9/17-At my second monitoring, 7am on Monday the 17th, again only bloodwork was ordered testing just my estradiol level. The clinic was very happy with it being in the 1200s, and wanted to keep me on the same oral/vaginal dosage of Estrace for ten days.
9/27-At today's third monitoring appointment, 7am on Thursday the 27th, they took my blood and I had a lining check via ultrasound. Unfortunately, instead of my lining being thick (7-8mm) it was very thin at a 3.8mm with my progesterone level indicated that I may have ovulated, on my own, way too early in this cycle :( The RE wanted me to return the following day for another check on my progesterone level.
9/28-Today was the fourth monitoring appointment, 7am on Friday the 28th, for bloodwork. The results were inconclusive. The RE wants me to return again Monday for another progesterone check before she scraps this cycle too :(
10/1-It’s October! At my fifth appointment, today 7am on Monday the 1st, I had bloodwork. My progesterone level had continued to increase, so the RE decided to cancel this cycle as well, day 18 on meds :( The plan is for me to get back on birth control for a week then start Lupron injections on the 7th, and a week later stop birth control. On day 2-3 of my period I will have my baseline monitoring bloodwork again, to start the process over again for a November transfer.
So disappointed and frustrated to have had two med cycles now cancelled back to back. But my IPs leave this week for vacation out of state, so in that regard, it's for the best that I won't be transferring without them present. My new meds are being ordered, Lupron and Estrace refills, so hopefully this next med cycle moves smoothly!
