I recently lost a majority of my bookmarks, and now cannot for the life of me remember what this fic is called, much less where I can find it. :(
The main part that I remember is that the bad guys have Kaylee for some reason, and Jane recruits his 7(?) brothers to help him and the Serenity crew rescue her. A pair of hte "hands of blue" men are after them, and Jayne hears them questioning and then killing a guard around the corner before he shoots them. Jayne and Kaylee are in a relationship at this point, but the fic doesn't start out as it being established. It's multi-chaptered and fairly long.
