Did the Avengers Friday night...
It was awesome. Really, really enjoyable. I wouldn't mind going to see it again. :D
It had that Whedon special brand of smart,savvy sarcasm tempered with obvious character affection that he does SO WELL (miss Buffy, yes I do *sniff*). I wont give away spoilers or anything but I will say this, I went in expecting to enjoy Iron Man the most, as you do, but I have to say, the Hulk really stole the show. Okay, so maybe I'll give away one little, itty, bitty spoiler.

Both Saturday and today we went to this huge Renaissance Faire in Escondido. And that was also a whole lot of fun. I didn't really know what to expect exactly, I've been to one before, years and years ago (I was probably around 18 or 19) but the only thing I remembered, really, was the turkey legs *sheepish grin* and I didn't go dressed in garb or anything (Savvy wore one of her princess costumes) so I was a bit worried I'd stand out in my jeans, blouses, flats and sunglasses but I had a really good time on both days. Am a bit sunburned but hey, small price to pay. ;)

In other good news... ten pounds! I've lost ten pounds the past five weeks! Eeeee!!!! To say I'm excited about that would be an understatement. I hope to double it by KiScon at the end of June. Wish me luck?
Just catching up on my flist and I see Chris, Zach, Simon and Benedict all went to Hooters *is amused*. Now that's a mental image that's going to have me entertained for days. ;)
Haven't been online at all this week (I really, really, really need to get some writing done, like within the next few days done, lol). I feel kind of cut off from the world. Did I miss anything exciting this past week? Did any good fic get posted? How is everyone?
