Financial self-interest and the rights of corporations are more important to them than loving their neighbors.

Phyllis Schlafly confuses urban legend with truth, Arlington with Europe - Anatomy of yet another conservative lie. Which like most conservative lies is ridiculous easy to debunk. And also like most conservative lies will inflame millions of Americans about the perfidy of liberals despite being completely, utterly untrue. Because facts can't get in the way of a good story, and very few conservatives will ever trust reality over their own political narrative. Pretty much by definition. Because if they did, they wouldn't remain conservative for long.
