2007 sucks so far!
This year just seems to be getting from bad to worst. I got laid off this month. What's even more whack is that I got laid off for pretty much being sick. Not literally, but sort of. So I used a few sick and personal days this year and then bam, pink eye so I'm out for 3 or 4 days. Then I go back to work, bust my ass, and the next day, BAM, crazy sick with sinusitis, 103 fever, strep-throat feeling, basically feeling like I'm dying. Then I get better and the COO calls me into his office to tell me the bad news. He basically said it wasn't his decision, that he knows I worked hard, do good work, and likes my personality but it wasn't his decision. The decision was based off of the fact that they need a tech support person more "available". F*** THAT! I did so much for this damn company and this is the thanks I get, a boot in the ass. It sucks! FACKERS!! I was so tempted to destroy the online knowledgebase that I created for them.
So I'm looking around again and fast because the next mortgage payment is in 31 days. I had an interview today with Condor Capital, an asset management and financial planning firm and they asked a bunch of questions. I even had to take an aptitude test which felt like the PSAT's.
Well, I'm down in the dumps and don't feel like writing anymore so bye for now...
