What a friggin day!! So I wake up and begin to get ready for work (at Jenni's house). Everything is normal..its a typical Monday morning. Start the car and off I go. I stop at Exxon on Easton Avenue to put some air in my front tires. Start the car....but it doesn't start. Doesn't crank or anything. FOOK!! Check the trunk for jumper cables...double FOOK!! I left them at the bakery. So I see this Civic next to me with two doods in the car reading the paper and I ask them for a hand. They don't have jumper cables. I go to the gas attendant to borrow some cables...he says "they're in the store." So I go into the store and ask the store person...and he points to the shelf, indicating i must buy jumper cables. After throwing a semi-fit I go ahead and buy my 2nd pair of jumper cables for $15. I go back to the Civic people and they pull up and jump start me. Hooray!! Get to work about 20-25 minutes late and go about my daily duties at work. At around 4pm, I go back to my car just to see if its dead again...and what do ya know...it is!! So I ask my coworker to give me a jump and hooray...it starts again. So i'm on my way home, and its raining and my windshield is fogging up. I turn on my wipers every now and then and put on my parking lights. Traffic isn't too bad but just in case, I switch over to the right lane as I come up upon Exit 39 (Route 10 exit on 287). About 1 minute later, my car is just dead and I roll into the median area...with cars exiting to Route 10 on my right and 287 traffic on my left. FOOK again!! I call up the parents and my dad can't leave the bakery so my mom comes. I wait...and wait...and wait...hoping a cop will pass me by possibly. Never a cop around when you need one. So finally...at about 6:30, my mom finally pulls up behind me. She had apparently passed me twice...GREAT!!. So she picks me up and we head to the bakery to get my emergency car kit with my tools and JUMPER CABLES in the case. Then we head to Pep Boys and I spend $70 on an Energizer battery for my car. Get back to my car on 287, and its dark out already. Lucky for me I stopped where there happend to be street lights...or so I thought I was lucky. I get the positive clamp off fine but the friggin nut holding the negative clamp is so friggin small!! I can't get it with my adjustable wrench. Finally, a State Trooper pulls up and we try to get it off but to no avail. So he offers to call a tow for me and he would tell them to bring tools since I had a battery already. He then said he wouldn't know how much they would charge me and if I wanted, I could go home and pick up the right tools and come back...which we did. So back to the bakery my mom and I go again, leaving a tag on my driver side window to let other troopers now I would be back so they don't tow my ass. Get back to the bakery, get a smaller adjustable wrench and my dad comes with me this time. We get there and we got the clamp off...HOORAY...NOT!!! The battery is bolted down and I don't have the right extension in my kit because its AT THE BAKERY!!! WTF!!!!! DAMMMIIITTTT!!! So we decide to just jump the focker while my dad follows me and we get the to the bakery. Finally get the battery changed and all. The moment of truth...Is it the battery??? VRROOOMM....IT IS!!! Yay!! Its 9:30 and I finally get home. Son of a monkey's ass!! I'm hungry, soaked, and crazy cranky!! BLEH... Well, I have a few things to look forward to. I bought a Magellan Roadmate GPS device on Ebay...woohoo...and I bought NBA Live 2006 for the PS2....WOOHOOO!! Can't wait till they both come in.
