Went to a doubleheader of UNI softball today. I'm not really into softball near as much as I am into volleyball and football, but the team is doing well and I like to make it out to a few games when I can. The Panthers lost game 1, which was a pitching duel that ended 1-0, with the only run being a solo homer by Illinois State. Panthers won the second game 3-0, which included a 2-run homer. Fun times. UNI had already clinched the regular season conference championship after last weekend. They have one more game tommorrow (weather permitting), and then will be the #1 seed in the conference tournament next weekend.
I got to sit right behind the volleyball coach, one of my fave former volleyball players, and one of the best UNI WBB players for much of the afternoon, which was neat.
Ended up getting a bit of sunburn though. Oops. But it's not too bad.
