(no subject)
Stopped into a Subway shop on Monday to grab a $4 footlong meatball sub (or I suppose, technically it was two $2 six-inch subs, but anyway).
In the same building is a video store that is going out of business (or at least closing that location), and they had an 80% off clearance sale on their (previously-viewed) DVDs.
Didn't really have anything in particular in mind, but I figured I'd browse for a bit and see if anything jumped out. Nothing really picqued my interest too much, but I ended up snagging a copy of:
Waitress
total chick flick, but Nathan Fillion's role in it is amusing, and I always thought Keri Russel was kind of cute. And it was only $2.
Watching that flick always makes me hungry for pie though. So tonight I had dinner at Village Inn, since they give a free slice of fruit pie (including pumpkin, even though I'm not sure if pumpkin is actually a fruit) on Wednesdays (with a meal purchase)
