when i was in college, there was one community computer in my dorm which was a macintosh. the only time i used it was to play an asteroids-type video game called maelstrom. this last weekend, my uncle george, the mac-enthusiast, informed me that maelstrom was available for free download and helped me point my browser to the website. so for the last three days i've been getting reacquainted with the game and my old techniques (and cursing a lot when i die) and i have to admit that the game is not quite so much fun as when i used it as a dodge from homework.
