Tamaki and Hikaru

Tama-kun is the nickname that I dubbed for the newer guy that's recently come into my life. He looks like Kyouya but acts like Tamaki. About ten days into just meeting, he announced that he was falling for me and from what I gleamed from friends, is just short of being in love with me. So, I have another boy I'm sort of half dating. (As for 'Hikaru,' I dubbed the first player mentioned in the last post as such, because I realised that I have a tendency to like red headed, tough guy exterior, romantically retarded anime characters (Kyo and Hikaru) and he fits the profile pretty well. I must seem obsessed with Ouran haha)

Tama-kun is good to me(spoils me with food and letting me crash at his place,) and we're taking it slow (or trying to) to see what happens and until he knows just what he wants. Hikaru is pretty much the same way and has been this entire time. So far, people have suggested to going for the Tamaki/Kyouya hybrid, citing that Hikaru isn't good for me.

Problem being, Tama-kun and I just met each other not too long ago, so we wouldn't have a good foundation to start a relationship on and I'm also a little insecure because he told me he ended a relationship in a similar manner to how Alex and I broke up. (A good thing ended with little or no compromise and no trying to fix anything.) The latter situation is what scares me the most about committing myself to even the idea of starting something; Jei doesn't want to hurt again. Hell, it hurts enough already.

I love Hikaru, and feel that if I let myself, I could let Tama-kun in as well. They both care about me but can't seem to make up their minds... I am a bit drunk on these dual affections, though... ^^;

So, this makes me think: Are two half somethings better than nothing at all?
