IMDB Description: A former cop (Jackson) who now earns a wage as a crime scene cleaner unknowingly participates in a cover-up at his latest job.
Quick & Dirty Review: Interesting twist, but basically the same old trust-loyalty-betrayal-blah plot, plus a lot of confusion. Not as good as I thought, but Samuel Jackson played the character really well.

IMDB Tagline: Zach has put aside his aspirations for a career in art to take care of his family, a romance with a surfing buddy one summer forces him to make important decisions about his life.
Quick & Dirty Review: One of the best GLBT movies that I've watched. More of a typical teen movie compared to Brokeback. Plot is predictable, but talks about issues that every single out gay man has to face at some point in his life. Also talks about controversial topics such as same-sex parents. Plot line is focused on the development of Zach, the newly-outed gay man. A big plus because the viewer is not overwhelmed with love dramas (like ... in every other teen movie?). Highly recommended.
