(n) What My unit has become since I graduated recruiting school.
I'm gonna make this as short as I can because I am not feeling well AT ALL. My unit is in the field right now, and since I'm not "thiers" anymore, I'm on Rear D. Usually, this means I get to do a normal 9-5 job and get to spend time with that wife and kid that live with me. But now, Rear D comes in a 7am, and leaves at 9. PM. The NCO's get to go home, but the lower enlisted get to sleep in the battalion conference room on cots, even though their rooms are a flight of stairs above them. If you pull staff duty for 24 hours, you no longer get the next day off, rather, you get to come in at 2pm instead, and work until 9pm again.
yeah, it's worse than it sounds. but I'm too damn worn out to go into detail.
