My mom's 18 year old cat died this morning. She had been in failing health for awhile (hyperthyroid, being old) couldn't keep on any weight and her most recent labwork indicated that she was starting to go into renal failure. So my folks did the humane thing. I'll miss this kitty. She was one tough Harlem cat (yes, the cat really did come from Harlem).
