Going all in
I should stay away, but I can't. I really like her. She likes me too and we both enjoy, want and bring joy and happiness to each other...but to what extent is the question. Conversations have crossed the line, contact has come close, and mutual feelings expressed; but still holdIng giving the boyfriend another chance to prove himself after another fight and major letdown over Christmas...and already showing signs of his "old ways". She says something in her changed over Christmas, and she's not sure what just yet, but she didn't care, chase or contact him. Yet she gave him another chance when he came back two days later.
I have known other women like her, so my gaurd is up. I would have run if it hadn't been fornher strong work ethic, her demonstration of responsibility and my interest and genuine care for her..or maybe gratitude, knowing I wouldn't have lasted and made it through at work without her.
It's been a long time, I just hope this is something good. I've had enough bad.
