I completed my 2nd exam of the term and also handed in that Art History Essay-slashi-exam! I'M ONE MORE AWAY FROM BEING COMPLETE! then May will roll around and I will go back to education :S, oh the sadness. OH well.
Today I spent hours at the HMV on Yonge St. I finally had the courage to go up the escalator and enter the realm of PUNK/METAL/ELECTRONICA/REGGAE. I LIKE IT UP THERE! I finally found Senses Fail up there but they didn't have any more copies on display so I got The Early November instead. It took me 2 hours to debate between Coldplay or Early November, so the Emo-voice took over and urged me to get Early November.
Afterwards I booted it to the Subway station to catch the next train, only to realize (while on the subway train) I NEEDED TO GO PICK UP MY SKETCHBOOKS. So after arriving in Union, I bolted from one side of the platform to the other to hop on the subway train, again, and go back to Ryerson and get those damn sketchbooks.
I met up with Karen and Lisa and snooped at the other sketchbooks/visual diaries and, I can proudly say, i did better than a lot of other sketchbooks, although mine was very shit-acular compared to others.
Lisa and I soon headed over to Eaton's center to stand on some stairs and stare at Lisa Marie Presley. I haven't really seen a celebrity in close viewing range before, but it was pretty amazing that i was able to stare at the flesh and dna of ELVIS. She looked like a normal person though, I think she's pretty awesome.
After staring at LMP for good half-hour, we ended up walking towards Queen Street but not going far, so we walked to union...i was pooped when i got there but had missed my train by mere minutes! so i slept on the train and took a bus home and found Sarah Parker (i hope that's her name, i'm sure it is EEP!). So she helped me on my way home and assured me i wasn't lost. It was neat talking to her.
Now i'm home, and f***ing starving.
There are alot of new music i discovered while in HMV for hours. i found some albums for that drum and bass, also found Asian Dub Foundation and Aphrodite. I only like a few songs from them but i'm not sure if it's good to get an album of them. but i'm liking the trance/electronica music i was listening to, very fashion show esque, so i might buy them.
AMBERLE we shall make those bags soon! i'm almost done my exams...PLUS we must go to the next burlesque and invite vicki and lisa. LET'S INVITE THE WORLD! MUwhahahaha...
