Cicadas... what?
So, it turns out my email has been filtering approx. half of my LJ notifications (when LJ bothers to send them out) so I'm sorry if I haven't replied! *glares at hotmail*
There are cicadas going off outside my window. It is still August, right? Y'know, WINTER? I can't even...
Horatio, the Naughty Cat, is staying atm. Each morning, he wakes me up at 3 or 4, wanting to go out and play. He does this by meowing very loudly - he's a Siamese - and sitting on my head or knocking things off my bedside table. I love his furry butt but this has to stop. I keep trying to keep him awake, but natural nocturnal habits don't help. My sleep patterns are *knocks on wood* vaguely reasonable, or would be if it weren't for him.
I have no news re: scholarship. Why yes, it is quite stressful.
BECAUSE I START IN A WEEK! And because universities run on whimsy and research money, rather than logic, I can't enrol until after my start date. WTF, uni? WTF? No orientation packages/student cards/useful info until I do enrol. OF COURSE.
My vaguely-sort-of-dieting is going apace. I'm exercising a wee bit more too, which is a win, though the gods and such conspire against me with the whole Plan to Swim thing. It's going to happen sometime, it just hasn't been that time. I have a new MP3 player that is wee and little and I can fast forward and search for songs (EXCITING) and things. Yeah.
