I have been knitting a lot the last couple of weeks. Almost done on a Who-scarf, working on my Amy Pondy lovely red handwarmer (done!) and thin scarf combo, did some handwarmers for my Landlady and another set for myself and am about to start on a cowl and handwarmer set for a friend's birthday (in three weeks *gulp*). I don't have photos currently but will work on them. I like handwarmers - they are far less fiddly (FINGERS) than gloves/fingerless gloves (this is a lie. There are fingery bits on fingerless gloves and they are HARD and FIDDLY).
Well,
this Charlie chap is adorable:

He's in Chameleon Circuit, the band who plays Who songs including
Exterminate, Regenerate. He got to go to the TARDIS set and take a photo with Neil Gaiman. Possibly I'm terribly envious. He also has a little end thingie of Stephen Fry talking on his vids. Seriously: envious.
I love Band of Brothers. My brother lent me the box set and I've watched up until the end of the Battle of the Bulge (And was delighted and horribly upset that Richard Speight was in it (spoiler: he dies). Then again, the sheer amount of recognisable people from both sides of the pond....)...
The latest in Spider Wars: TWO. TWO IN MY TOWEL. I had come to a peaceable and phobia-busting arrangement with one of them in the bathroom. It was living between the shower stall and the wall (amazing the cracks they can wriggle through) and came out very occasionally at night and didn't wander far and I was starting to come to terms with it. THEN IT BROUGHT A FRIEND. ONTO MY TOWEL. HIDDEN IN MY TOWEL. The Shoe of Vengeance was thereafter applied. Vigorously.
