Few Ideas

First, I believe there should be a new sport invented for how many things you can accomplish before the ice cream in the back seat of your car melts. I might win the silver.

Second, when did stores stop carrying pastry blenders? And who thinks the appropriate substitution for one is two knives? Bah I say!

Third, I need to stop forgetting my wallet before I go to the grocery store - hence the award for ice cream.

But seriously, I know I've seen these in countless places... Have they sold out for Easter? Somehow I don't think these are gifts people (besides me) would really want. Stores tried: Stop and Shop (because the groceries and ice cream were there too), Linens & Things (BBB's sister store. When I hear the word "Things" I think: hmmm, all the kitchen/bakery THINGS I could ever want! - my disappointment was great) and Target.  Not only did I NOT want to go to Target between the hours of 2pm and 9pm but I was still suffering from the "Ice cream is melting syndrome"  - I swear that is a mom thing and I am so scared of the fact that my mom is slowly replacing me in my brain.

On a brighter, and less ice cream filled note, Fiona went into heat about 3 weeks ago - so much fun. Now I truly understand the meaning of caterwauling.  However, last week we assured that Fiona would no longer caterwaul nor look at me with that much desperation ever again. I weighed her this morning. She is 7 POUNDS. At 5 months that is pretty good. She looks a bit awkward, she has this long ferret-like body but short rabbit legs. This does not stop her from trying to eat my plant at the top of the bookcase.

Today our group submitted our pharmacoeconomic study. This makes me happy. My test on Monday makes me sad.

I am making apple-blackberry crisp with raspberries. Cross your fingers.

This ice cream better be really freakin' good tonight.
