by god I think they are finally working ...
So, I had a tiny little tickle of something coming on before Crown Tourney, but Eric came down with it instead. I didn't catch it full on until the following weekend, I attempted to get extra sleep and just muddle through it with OTC stuff. It wasn't getting better, not too worse either, but not better, by last Friday at my normal routine pregnancy visit the NP gave me a script for antibiotics. The comment on the ride home was "That dose for a cold is like an a-bomb for a couple terrorists in the dessert." Being already tired from the week, we didn't get it filled that night.
Here it is Wednesday, my throat still twinges - which is making me drink more water to keep the dryness to a minimum, good thing I guess. But I'm feeling less stuffy and coughing less, the dang pills may just be working, finally.
In other news, I'll be going to Mixed Weapons this weekend, day-tripping Saturday, maybe Sunday - I'll see how Saturday goes :) Selene, did you still want 'lighting' for your vigil? And I'm part of Turrel's combat stitching team. Eric will be at the event during the day and he is being kidnapped off to another hockey game that night. Guess my boy will be a season ticket holder next year after all, sounds like they are working stuff out. Hockey in real-time and football on Sundays at home - I can live with that.
