tired
Southern was good. Need to get new shoes for Estrella - especially since the new site looks like more walking than the old. We took more time than I would have liked to pack up and get off site yesterday - and I was so tired that by 8:30p I was trundling off to bed. Next year I'm taking the extra day at the end as vacation too - today would have been better spent at home, doing laundry and watching mindless television.
I have realized that I am just vain enough to not ruin the suprises people plan for me. I was heralding the Baronial court on Saturday. Meadhbh came to coordinate the collegium at Southern, and then to visit me in camp - see stuff, read sheets, etc., then she stated she and Da would be attending BA court. Now, normally, I should be thinking "why would Mom want to go to BA court?" - but no, I'm thinking "Oh, she wants to see me herald and Da wants to give me pointers." Kristoff is in the crowd too ... I'm thinking "Oh, he's here 'cuz his ride (Alianora) is here, and he wants to give me heraldry pointers." ... IT WAS ALL A GIANT CONSPIRACY!!! ... I'm vain and simple-minded to boot. They all knew I was going to get my Baronial arts award, the Purpur Clarion. It was wonderful to have them all there though ;-)
So now I get to dig out of all that which needs to be cleaned from a weekend camping trip. Get started on Holiday plans and stuff for Estrella as well. I'm bushed!! Need to get exercise routine in place - see above regarding walking at Estrella ...
The knight type says he will be 'breaking' my husband - so long as it doesn't honestly break him where he has to go to the hospital and the baby making isn't hindered I'm ok with it. Oh and then the boy tells me about the idea the peer had for his fighting tunic ... *sniff* I'm a sappy romantic and that just about killed me ;-)
