true story
I came home today for the summer, and after eating dinner from Paladino's, THEE most amazing pizza ever, I'm a good kid and decide to renew my come-to-be-expected-of-me duty of wiping the dishes so my mom doesn't do them all herself...
...about a minute into dishes/after clearing the table, the glass in the light above the table randomly crashes and shatters everywhere.
I thought this could be symbolic, though I'm not sure what it symbolizes. I do have theories:
(1) Summer is going to start off dandy (i.e. like with the best pizza ever) and then suck, coming to a crash.
(2) It was extremely lucky that we had decided to stop eating and get everything off of the table about two minutes before the glass fell, so perhaps this summer will have lots of good luck things occurring.
(3) It's a death threat. Watch yourself, this was just a warning.
(4) Beware of falling light fixtures.
I should write horoscopes.
