I talked to maggie forever the other day, it was fun and amusing and informative all at the same time, lol.
I went home thursday afternoon to get some stuff and ended up leaving the following morning instead of 8 that night, as I'd planned :o\ ... I ended up being 3 minutes late to my first class, but oh well...
Friday I had.... all of my classes, and then I went to Rochester (without doing my laundry, so now I have a ton to do :o\ ) and worked until 10, something apparently the GM had forgotten to mention to the mod working that night.
Saturday I found out that he'd also forgot to mention that I can only work 2 of the three weekend days, and they had to be in a row (i.e. either fri/sat or sat/sun)... so they had me scheduled for sunday. -_-
And on Saturday they told me they could "spare me", which I thought meant "we have too many people working on the floor now so go home", but apparently it meant "go reorganize the software cabinet, because we can afford to spare you on the floor" as if I'd given them a reason to give me a job they deem as "punishing" after working there... less than two days. f that.
Sooo I worked today, and I got to revamp another aisle because I wasn't needed, and a customer called me a bitch, but in a... complementary way... and a guy said I was an "angel" because I found him the other five packs of epson printing paper in the store and as a reward gave me his card, saying if I ever needed a lawyer for "a ticket or something" to call him. I think I dropped it somewhere, because I can't find it now.
And my back f'd up again.
And on top of all that, Andrew had this 12 hr competition on Saturday, so he was prepping Friday night, and on Saturday I got back after he'd been back for like two hours, and he'd only got like two hours of sleep the night before, so he fell asleep like 5 minutes after I came in.... so I spent like zero time with him this weekend. *not* cool.
And I'd been banking on doing my work Sunday, because I wasn't working... so now I have a ton of work, including a mini paper studying for a humanities test (all the questions plus we have to *memorize* 3 maps of ancient civilizations... I don't think I've memorized a map since 6th grade).
on a plus note, the mambas I bought from the cornerstore had the three best flavors in the pack, raspberry, lemon and strawberry... that's a rare thing... and my brother found this awesome site that I've been looking for forever.
hopefully this hasn't been a plague of bad weekends and all of yours have been better...
