GIBSONS!!!!!
so from wednesday till today a bunch of us went up to gibsons. it was soo much fun. we were very lucky to have really nice weather. the sun was out with few clouds but it was kinda breezy. so we got there at around 230ish and justine's mom had to pick us up but not all of us could fit so justine and i stayed back and played frisbee in the parking lot. when we all go there we listened to music and hung out, and then walked down to the beach. it was quite chilly, but really nice. and watched the sun set. then we watched ANTM!!!! (america's next top model) and a movie (mean creek)and went to bed pretty late. we listened to music and fell asleep during it but early in the morning i woke up and couldn't fall asleep after. i'm sure i was awake for at least 3 hours straight, and couldn't get comfy cause 4 of us slept in the loft which should fit only like 3 people at the most on the matress). then yesterday her mom drove us to lower gibsons and we had fish and chips for lunch, it was tasty! and then had some gelato ( i had raspberry and a scoop of strawberry) oh goodness it was yummy! and then we walked up this huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumongous hill that's like super duper steep (around 5 times longer than that oak street hill). and took us like 20 minutes of crazy uphill walking until we reached upper gibsons and walked around and went to the mall. then we had to walk back to justine's cabin but luckily it was mostly downhill. it took around 45 min or so. man, so much walking yesterday! and then we went to the beach, and took pictures and played more frisbee, and had burgers for dinner. then we watched the OC! and then the movie "life as a house". then went to sleep rather early and i slept downstairs with nimrit and we had a good sleep, it felt a lot better than the night before that's for sure! then this morning we got up around 10 and i made scrambled eggs for them and had toast and fruit. and then went to the beach and just was lying in the sun listening to music. it was a rather chill day.
so there was this girl who kept following us around throughout the trip. her name was britney and she was 9. she aalllllllllllllways wanted to play and this morning we tried to sneak out to the beach and rush down so she wouldn't follow us, but as we were walking down the road we hear this small voice "hey u guys!" and we were like under our breaths "oh noooooooo!" but we really couldn't do anything about it. so we came with us to the beach AGAIN! and we just were lying around and she kept asking if we wanted to do stuff but we were like "no we're really tired".
oh and there was this little guy who was 2 almost 3 who came with a family who lived in a van that they parked near the beach, and the little boy just ran around by himself. it was quite dangerous! so we looked after him. and yesterday when karina and i went to sit on a log the rest of the girls played frisbee with the little boy and britney, and the boy's dad came and walked towards them and britney through the frisbee at him. he caught it and then through it in the other direction and said "at least i caught it". then later on they said that he was like "why the hell does it say shop on your shirt" - to britney, and she was like "it says i like to shop". he was a strange man, oh! and they asked him if it was his little boy and he said "i guess so..." we really think he was on something.
anyways, i gotta go, cause i'm tired of typing!
