totally radd said it best when they said turtles just dont understand.as i sit here typing this out im watching my pet turtle, whos name is turtle, try to get to land from the water. now, as im looking this it is no simple task for him. but i have the tank laid out such that it should be very very VERY easy for him to get on land. picture it like this, there are nine hundred and ninty nine EASY ways for the turtle to do this, and 1 hard way. turtle picks the hard way, everytime. Insted of walking up the shallow slope down the unobstructed path, he decideds to take the path THROUGH the one plant and around the bubble tube in the tank, he gets caught up on the plant and he cant fit around the bubble tube so he never makes it to land, if only he understood, if only he had a brain, if only her was a real boy. =(
