Aussie politics

Cheers to Australia for getting rid of their conservative Prime Minister John Howard and hopefully moving forward in a new direction. In another year I hope the United States follow the same direction and elects someone who will also change the mess that President Bush has created in our country but the prospects dont look that encouraging so far.

It is odd though to learn that Midnight Oil singer Peter Garrett was actually elected to a political office.

Anyway, congratulations to all my Aussie friends.
