The Things I Love in Nashville:
The People- anyone and everyone. Its nice to see the familiar faces that I dont know and its wonderful to talk about life with the people I love there.
DLBC- There is no getting around it and i know I am biased, but its just my favorite place. I clapped when I saw the sign for Glen Echo. Lame, but I dont care. The swings, the playground, the squirrels eating fried chicken, bison square, even the side walks that I walked so many a night.
Fanning- I broke in while i was there this weekend. It was really clean and still smelled like cleaning supplies. 109 had empty pizza boxes in it from basketball camp. It smelled funky and needed some quality time with the air purifier.
Sodexho's Sweet Tea- This Just In: they brought back the tea upstairs from first semester. Thank you, Miss Natalie.
Rocketown, Fido, Pangea, and even White Castle for good measure- because we dont have them in K-town its just nice for a break from my reality.
The Conversations- yes, I have had some really good ones on this side of the state, but there is just something about the ones in Nashville. I dont know what it is. Maybe, its just that they seem to be a constant thing there and here I just have to make time for them.
Otter Creek- "ride your bike"
By the way please pray for David Rubio, OC's Youth Minister, right now. They found a mass in the lining of his heart. They dont really know what it is and they are running tests.
Okay, off to do some cleaning, gotta make Amber proud. For one day I will be domestic, but until then I will be practicing.
