Spoilers for Atlantis follow. Be warned...
I just saw a clip of who the big new baddy is on Atlantis. It's the freaking Asgard! Seriously, this is the BIGGEST plot twist it could have been. Thor and his buddies were always kind of limpy as good guys even though we kept being told how the Go'auld feared them. After seeing Atlantis and the carnage they wrecked breaking in and kidnapping McKay and Daniel... Wow. No wonder the snakes were afraid. And it explains a bit better how they could fight for crying out loud (channeling O'Neill for a second). And think about how Daniel will react. He was buddies with Thor like the rest of SG-1 and was there when the Asgard committed mass suicide. Now suddenly his captors are the Asgard! Damn! Wooohooo!
