what a weekend :)
yay this weekend was awesome! nic came over on saturday morning and made me breakfast, which was super sweet. then us and my dad left for binghamton around 5. we got there then went out to dinner with my g-rents and my sisters and shannon. ummm...Kampai the Japanese place in binghamton is incredible. they cook it all right in front of you and its really good :) on Sunday, Nic, me and my dad headed down to NYC to go to my first ever YANKEES GAME! it was INCREDIBLE! The Yanks came back from a 6-2 deficit to win it in the 11th inning....oh man, great game! then we wanted to see Times Square haha but we forgot to bring directions from the stadium to Times Square with us. So we decided that it would be a good idea to guess. Since we could see the Empire State Building we figured why not just go in that direction? Well we ended up in the middle of Harlem with no idea what was going on. haha! it was definitely and interesting time. Their major roads are all named after people like Malcolm X, Frederick Douglass, MLK Jr. and Adam Clayton Powell, who apparently was a corrupt black politician. haha so eventually we did make it to Times Square which was really cool. I love it. so then we made it out of the city, stopped at Cracker Barrel for dinner and headed back to binghamton. left in the morning and came home, hung out with nic for a while and now i'm home alone. well actually my dad just got home but he's in the other room. so yea it was a really good weekend. yankees :)
