Birthday Thanks
Thank you so much for all the lovely Birthday greetings, pictures and especially the wonderful Swordspoint fic from just_ann_now.
I had an unexpectedly busy day - firstly over to Mum's for coffee. She's not been well, having caught Mr Jay's cold when she came to us for Christmas so we couldn't go out for a meal as usual. Then it was back home and grab some shopping as Stephen was coming over for lunch. After that I got him to drop me off at the garage to collect my car as the lock on the passenger door had jammed. Then back to Mum's again as I'd left my phone there! However it was lovely to read all the Birthday messages here and on Facebook - thank you, everyone!
Yesterday I went to Exeter for the day to browse around the shops, which is always a pleasant excuse to spend money, and today saw Battle of the Five Armies again. I still love Thranduil, and still hate the deaths :(
My New Year's resolution is to try to write more, as I have a few long-unfinished WIPs (some never even published) and want to complete at least one before next New Year. We'll see ...
