Too much vacation time???
Once again, I spent a considerable amount of time away from work. It was carnival time, you know. Need I say we had a blast? Nothing's better than entering a pub that's stuffed with carnival atmospheres after having frozen your ass off watching the Tour de Carnival pass by outside. Well, we haven't really been watching, if you know what I mean... (hence pics below)
The day after these photographs were taken Nicole's first day at work entered our lives. Read: that was the first time I had to take care of both Sam & Puk myself. Jeez, that was quite a day! Raising two kids with your partner can be pretty hectic at times, but doing it on your own is something else. It turns out I have to find some sort of system in that quickly, the way I had to when I first started taking care of Sam. Respect to all stand-alone mums and dads.
Also, we've booked us a trip to Venice beach, Italy, during Summer recess. I've never been there, but I do expect to have some darn good dinners.
